Journal of National Development (JND) is bi-annual peer reviewed & refereed international journal, two issues–Number 1 (Summer) and Number 2 (Winter) are published in June and December every year.

Guidelines for Contributors

Manuscripts for publication (papers, notes, book reviews etc.) in the Journal of National Development (JND) and Contemporary Social Sciences (CSS) must be in English (in Hindi only for ‘Special Issue of JND in Hindi’).

Processing Fee/Service Charges.

Why Processing Fee/Service Charges?

The journals published by Research Foundation International (India) and the Centre for Studies of National Development, Meerut (India) operate on a self-financing, not-for-profit basis and do not receive financial support from any government body or external funding agency. Consequently, the publication and operational costs of Contemporary Social Sciences (CSS) and the Journal of National Development (JND) are met through processing and service charges paid by authors.

These charges are applied solely to cover legitimate third-party and operational expenses, including but not limited to plagiarism screening, DOI registration, typesetting and composition, production, website maintenance, printing, registered postage, internet services, and utilities. Editorial decisions are entirely independent of processing fees and are based exclusively on academic merit and peer review outcomes.

All issues of both journals published since 2017  are freely accessible online via the journal website www,jndmeerut.org and may be downloaded at no cost. 

Processing Fee/Service Charges Structure

  • Indian Contributors:

A processing fee of INR 2,500 is applicable for a single-author manuscript across all academic categories (research scholars, independent researchers, assistant professors, associate professors, professors, and other academics). This fee includes one complimentary hard copy of the published issue sent by registered post within India.

For each additional author, an additional charge of INR 500 applies if a separate hard copy is requested.

  • Nepalese Contributors:

The processing fee is the same as for Indian contributors, i.e., INR 3,000

  • Other International Contributors:

A processing fee of US$ 35 is applicable. Air-mail postage charges, where applicable, shall be borne separately by the contributors.
